Higg FEM Verification

Higg Facility Environmental Module (FEM) is a sustainability assessment tool that standardizes how facilities measure and evaluate their environmental performance year over year. 3rd party FEM Verifier Body conducts Higg FEM verification (Onsite/Offsite) in worldly platform by approved verifiers to assess the accuracy of the self-assessment.

Through verification, a facility can enhance the credibility of their Higg FEM self-assessment so that it can be used for:

  • Supply chain sustainability evaluation programs managed by brands or retailers
  • Showcasing environmental performance
  • Identifying opportunities for improvement to reduce environmental impact of their operations
  • Reducing the need for multiple proprietary environmental audits

SLCP Verification (Higg FSLM/FFC)

The Social & Labor Convergence Program (SLCP) provides the tools [on Accredited Host platform namely Worldly (Higg FSLM) & FFC] to capture accurate data about working conditions in global supply chains. Factory could conduct Self-assessment or Joint assessment to complete the data collection tool.  After the assessment, SLCP verification (Onsite/ Virtual+ Onsite/ Full Virtual) is done by a SLCP approved 3rd party verifier body to know the accuracy of the self/joint assessment. SLCP Data Collection tool combines with Step 1 (Essential), Step 2 (Progressive) & Step 3 (Advanced).

 

SLCP verified data is beneficial to factories in different ways, like-

  • This is designed to be compatible with different standards or Codes of Conduct.
  • This allows brands, retailers and standards the flexibility to add their own scoring or interpretation to the data, according to their needs.
  • This multi-stakeholder initiative replaces the need for repetitive social audits by facilitating data sharing.
